Combining a sledgehammer with a grenade creates a sledgehammer that explodes every time you hit something. Jamming a model helicopter together with a machete creates a toy of whirling death. How about a lawn-mower? Feel free.īut what you’re really coming to this game for are the combo weapons - the wacky result of often mundane components. Want to wail on some enemies with a park bench? Go right ahead. You can pick up almost any item in the environment, and use it as an impromptu weapon, alternating between light and heavy attacks. The combat is fairly mindless, but entertaining. However, preventing your escape are hordes of undead, as well as a military quarantine surrounding the city. Playing as mechanic Nick Ramos, you’re desperately trying to escape from the city of Los Perdidos. This version also comes with some of the additional DLC - but maybe not the one you’d care about. Thankfully, this doesn’t detract from its innate zombie-smashing enjoyability, and it still remains the most approachable game in the series, all while looking a fair bit sharper. While its core remains the same as its console counterpart, it also continues the tradition of Capcom PC ports having mediocre-to-terrible keyboard controls.
